Hi, I'm Olesya!

I fell in love with photography when I first moved to the United States from Siberia Russia in 2001. Photography was my way exploring a magnificent, crazy, hectic, and full of energy New York City. I would get lost in the city streets with my little point and shoot camera, taking photos of the scenery, street life, and complete strangers. When I ran out of cash I applied for a job in a small neighborhood photo studio and this is how my professional journey started! I loved my new job and enjoyed every moment of it during that carefree, adventurous, and enchanting summer of 2001. But not until September 11 did I realize photography was my true calling. During those tragic and mad times I felt terrified and uncertain about so many things, but also deeply emotionally connected to New Yorkers through the photographs being brought in and printed by our photo lab. They weren't just photos I was printing, it was history in making. They were the stories of courage and despair. People's legacies and memories of the saddest and happiest moments. I wanted to document those memories, to be a part of it and create beautiful art work, healing and uniting. This is how I became a wedding and a portrait photographer. Through the years I had amazing opportunities to work and learn from the best photographers in the industry while studying at New York Institute of Photography. I launched my first photography business in 2007 in the Hamptons of Eastern Long Island. A few years later I also added a branch in Newport, Rhode Island and Key West, Florida. I travel nationwide and around the world, but those 3 places are my favorite destinations, with a residency in Key West. I'm blessed with my amazing and supportive family. We enjoy traveling, sailing, exploring new places and an outdoor lifestyle. I wouldn't survive living away from the water and all of it wonders - that's how Living Water Images - my new company business name originated.

This is my story, I would love to hear yours!

Hi! I'm RASA!

Passion is everything in life. I believe in the beauty we each have within ourselves, and most of all, I think in sharing unconditional love with one another. Life is everything to me: the air we breathe, the water we drink, the sands between our toes, the warmth of the sun, along with all of flora and fauna, are all tied together by times never ending tapestry. I see everything around us as a rhythmic dance, like the waves of time, lapping against the shoreline. I desire to bring your visions of love, joy, and happiness to life, through me. I will bring passion, excitement, along with an open mind. As your heart flooded with waves of emotions, on this, your most special of days, I will be there to capture these precious moments, for all eternity.

A brief history... I was born in Klaipeda, Lithuania – a beautiful port town on the Baltic Sea. Key West became my home in 2010. I have a B.A. Degree in Fine Arts from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. My photography career began in the U.S. in 2012 when my sister gave me a Nikon Camera as a Christmas gift. I started taking photos of the beautiful Key West scenery and sold them at a local establishment. In 2013 – 2014, I began taking photos of weddings and personal events. This opened my eyes to a whole new world of wedding day experiences, engagements, and fine art shoots. I loved every moment of it. My dream became to give my customers a truly joyful experience and bring out the jewels of their inner thoughts, emotions, and feelings through my work. I am very grateful to be a part of this beautiful community in Key West. Each and every day, I love and appreciate living so close to the beauty of our mother earth. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me.
